2 c sifted flour
1 1/3 c sugar
1/2 c crisco or other shortening
1 t salt
1 c milk
3 t baking powder
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
Put everything into mixer and mix for about 4 minutes.
Pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans and bake.
